If a bookmark is not appearing in your template, there are a few things you can check:
- Make sure the information is populated in synergy where the bookmark comes from
- Download your document in the edit template mode and check that both the black and grey bookmarks are showing.
- Check that the bookmarks are next to the words and hat the grey bookmarks have not been displaced somewhere in the document.
If you find that the bookmarks are not looking correct you will need to do the following to correct the bookmarks:
- Go into the Synergy template and click and then remove the affected bookmarks from the righthand side by clicking the red cross.
- Click ‘Save’ in the righthand corner of the template.
- Save the template and
- Delete the affected bookmarks completely from the word document you had downloaded.
- Save the Word document
- Re-upload the word document via the button in the template
- Click in the top right corner
- Stay in the editing page and click on again and re-add in the bookmarks that were removed.
- Click in the top right-hand corner again.
- Download the word document and the bookmarks will appear at the bottom of the document.
- Cut and paste the bookmarks where you would like them in the document (Make sure to select both the black and grey bookmarks)
- Once you’re happy with where the bookmarks are placed save the word document and re-upload the document into the template via the
- Click in the top right-hand corner again.
