In Synergy Fieldbook, you can use your camera or attach a photo from your photo library to your cash expense.
When you use this feature in Synergy Fieldbook, you will see this expense reflected in your Cash expense page in Synergy.
In the task details page for Synergy Fieldbook:
- Click on the cash expense row.
- Click on ‘Add receipt’. You will be prompted if you want to ‘Take photo’ using your camera or find an image from your phone’s ‘Photo library’.
- You will then need to select what kind of ‘Expense type’ this is. These are taken from Synergy. Read more.
- Choose the rate.
- Enter the total of the cash expense as a dollar value.
- Then add a note to describe the cash expense. This note will be seen in your timesheet daily note.
Note: If you are submitting timesheets for your team on this task, the cash expense will only appear for the person submitting the claim.
It is possible to also add a cash expense without the receipt and add the receipt in Synergy at a later stage. The process is the same but exclude adding the photo. To do this:
