It might seem like it was only yesterday we had a release, but that’s the way we like to do things here at Synergy. More features, more often.
This month, we’re all about reports.
We have a new report that allows you to filter by rate groups. If you use MYOB, read about our tracking categories. Find out about the new functionality we’ve added to manage them better. We have also added roles as a column and groupings now export to Excel, saving you having to create “Excel specific” version of reports.
Staff rates report - by rate group
Directors and system administrators can report on rate variation type with true/false filters. With this report, you can now specify your criteria with any number of combinations, and report on staff capacity and primary rate values.
Role column added to contacts
You can now list the role in any of your contact reports. In fact, you can add the role name as a column in your reports and filter or group by role.
Merge duplicate rows – grouping and report totals/duplicate row totals
You can total columns in complex reports with the new merge duplicate total function. When editing the column of a report, the totals drop-down has now been split into two allowing you to control what functions are used in the grouping and report total columns separately to those for the merged duplicate rows. Read more.
Export to Excel with grouping
If you export to Excel regularly, you will love how we improved the export function to handle grouped rows so can export reports with groupings straight to Excel. The grouping data is simply inserted as new columns to the left of the existing report columns. When your reports include groupings and you export, your CSV file will show the groupings as new columns.
MYOB tracking categories
If you use MYOB and have ever needed to track revenue by office, make sure to check out how we’ve incorporated tracking categories into MYOB Connect. Read more.
