Use this feature available in the 'WIP' view to:
- Move transactions from Stage A to Stage B
- Move transactions from Project A to Project B
This allows you to move work that staff have entered in the incorrect location in their timesheets or expenses, to the correct location so that it can be on-charged on a project invoice as required.
Transfer to another stage in the same project by:
- Go to: Project > Transactions tab > WIP view.
- Check the box against each of the transaction rows that you want to move to another stage.
- Click the multi-row select options arrow, and select the 'WIP transfer' option.
- The project drop-down defaults to show the project that you have open now.
- Select the new stage that you want to send all the transactions to from the drop-down list.
- Save.
- All the transactions are sent to the new stage for the selected project.

Tips:
- If the stage selected has the status of 'complete' or 'unsuccessful' applied then the transactions will be written off as part of the WIP transfer.
- If the stage has a fee type of 'no billing' then the transactions will be written off as part of the WIP transfer.
- You can only transfer transactions that are at WIP status. The other status types (invoiced and written off) cannot be transferred between stages or projects using this feature.
