Synergy has two types of projects available:
- Billable projects - used to create invoices to bill your client for project tasks.
- Non-billable projects - used to track the time your staff spend on internal office tasks.
Both types of projects include the standard Synergy features like:
- Project contacts
- Project portal feeds
- Transaction reporting
- Documents and image gallery
- Work breakdown with phases, stages and tasks
Non Billable projects just do not have any of the data that relates to invoicing, or profitability available inside the project. Keeping it simple to just so you the data that you need when tracking for office tasks.
In the project list the non-billable projects are shown with the blue office logo shown in a triangle on the left side of the row. You can see this in the image below that there are three non-billable projects for this office. The other rows without the triangle are all billable projects.
